New recurring company order

Set the cadence, addresses and headcount. An occasion is auto-generated 7 days before delivery and unlocks for ordering 24 hours before. Restaurants are picked at the occasion level — not locked in here.

What is this order, and who is it for?

Employees see this name in their dashboard
Keep it short — employees pick recurring orders from a list inside the app.

Restaurants are picked per occasion once it's generated — that way the team can rotate cuisines and accommodate dietaries each time, rather than locking the recurring order to a fixed pool.

Approximate — employees join up to the service window.
Useful if your cadence falls outside active policy windows.

How this works under the hood →
· A daily Chancy cron (02:00) iterates RecurringOrder rows where is_active=True and creates the next Occasion 7 days out, idempotent via scheduled_date unique check.
· Each new occasion has orders_locked=True. A per-occasion Chancy job flips it to False at delivery_datetime - 24h.
· Policy is re-resolved at occasion creation via AllowanceCalculator, so policy edits flow forward without touching the recurring order.
